Meeting physical activity guidelines (150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity and two days of resistance exercise each week) and being physically fit may reduce the risk of developing glaucoma by 40 percent to 50 percent. Glaucoma is one of the most common eye disorders and causes of blindness.
